Hemp seed is one of the most nutritious seeds in the plant kingdom. Naturally gluten-free hemp seeds contain plenty of protein, omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, vitamin E and important minerals such as magnesium. Hemp seeds are treated gently throughout the production process, without chemicals or high temperatures, which guarantees the preservation of all nutrients.
Finnish hemp seeds contain almost complete nutritional content. The seed is an excellent source of protein and energy. It contains all eight amino acids necessary for our body, as well as 12 other amino acids.
Hemp seed contains only good vegetable oil, as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in a perfect ratio of 1:3 for humans. It is also one of the few seeds with leafy greens and valuable gamma linolenic acid (GLA) 4% and stearidonic acid (SDA) 2%. The seed also contains a lot of vitamin E.
Taste: The taste of hemp seed is slightly nutty. It has a crunchy, fibrous skin and a soft nutty interior.
Usage: The seeds are good for snacking on their own or lightly roasted in a pan. They can be added to porridge, smoothies, yogurt, salad, and used in food preparation and baking. You can also spawn them if you want.
